报告人简介:

Xiao-Min Tong is the associate professor at Center for Computational Sciences,University of Tsukuba, Japan. He was awarded Fellow of American Physical Society on 2017. He was a general committee member of ICPEAC(International Conference on Photonic,Electronic and Atomic Collisions ) from 2013-2017. His research fields are Atomic and molecular structures and atomic and atomic and molecular photoabsorption, Interaction of intense laser with matter, Time-dependent density functional theory and computational physics.

摘要:

In this lecture, he will first brief the recent developments in the strong laser-atom interaction. Then, he will introduce the time-dependent Schrodinger equation in integral form, which is different from the commonly used differential form and allows us to dig out more physical information. Lastly, he will show how to observation the rescattering wave-packet qualitatively and quantitatively in laser-atom interaction. The rescattering is a key process to understand most dynamics of atoms in a strong field, yet the process cannot be measured in the experiment.
