报告人简介:

Yong Zhang is the Bissell Distinguished Professor at the University of North Carolina, Distinguished Professor of French nanoscience foundation, and the member of Academic Committee of State Key Laboratory of photovoltaic science and technology. He is the distinguished scientist with his pioneering work on several research areas: new materials and devices such as solar photovoltaic, solid state lighting equipment and detectors; first principles simulation on nanostructured materials, semiconductor superlattices and alloys, inorganic and organic mixtures. More than 180 papers have been published in Materials Today, ACS Nano, Nano Lett, Phys. Rev. X, Appl. Phys. Lett, Phys. Rev. B and other international well-known journals.

摘要:

Two basic approaches to treat the electron-phonon coupling in semiconductors will be introduced and illustrated with examples. Experimental and theoretical studies of electron-phonon coupling in semiconductor nanostructures will be briefly reviewed, particularly the results of a widely used technique, Resonant Raman scattering, and the underlying theory.
